1,095 Days In: Celebrating 3 Years of Cannon Stats

Celebrating our anniversary and thank you to everyone for being a part of this journey

On November 22, 2022, Adam and I nervously hit “send” on the very first Cannon Stats announcement. We were hopeful, but we genuinely had no idea if anyone out there wanted to get this nerdy about Arsenal stats and data.

Three years and exactly 740 posts later… here we are. 9,420 of you now open these emails. I still can’t quite believe it.

This past year was our biggest yet:

• 235 total posts (84 of them the big premium deep-dives you seem to love)

• The full return of the podcast on a weekly basis

• Over 1.6 million page views

• Almost 2,000 new free subscribers

• 122 absolutely legendary humans upgrading to paid (you keep the metaphorical lights on ❤️)

None of this happens without you opening, replying, sharing, forwarding to your friends, and believing this weird little project is worth your time.

Being a part of the Arsenal community has meant a lot to me, and this has become one of the genuine joys of my life. I have made friends, met so many new people (including some of you in person and I’d love to do more of that!), had the excuses to travel to go see Arsenal and even picked up a few haters. (I love the passion even they disagree with me!).

In year 4, we want to do even more!

We are always open to trying new stuff, tweaking things we are doing currently and trying to get better. Honestly, the best ideas always come from you guys, and we’d love to hear what types of posts, formats, guests or anything that you’re passionate about.
