My players to watch series continues with the Eredivisie, a league that’s truly in a fascinating state right now.

Last season’s champions, Feyenoord, look ready to return strong. Traditional powerhouse Ajax missed the Champions League and have a number of questions about their squad under new sporting director Sven Mislintat (remember him!). I could honestly name five or six Ajax players in this list as they move forward from names like Muhammad Kudus, Edson Alvarez and Jurrien Timber. And of course there’s PSV and AZ Alkmaar, among others.

As the season gets going, who’s worth keeping an eye on in the Netherlands? Here’s just a small part of my list:
