One of my favorite things about being an Arsenal fan is that it is something more than just a group of people who share a rooting interest in people that wear a red and white jersey. The fandom that supports Arsenal is a community, and within that, we are capable of amazing things.
I have met so many wonderful people through this shared fandom and the ability for us to harness this to make the world a slightly better place. This month in conjunction with the Arsenal Vision Podcast I am participating in the fundraiser to support the Arsenal Foundation and the charity Save the Children and the work that they are doing in the Zaatari refugee camp in Jordan.
Elliot was able to visit and put together a great video about the work that they are doing and how your/our donations will help and the impact that will have.
I will be donating 50% of all the revenue (both new and existing users) from Premium subscriptions this month to this cause. So just by being a member here, you will be contributing but adding more is always appreciated and will go towards an amazing cause.
Our Just Giving Page to Donate
We have set a goal of £100,000 and it is a big number for us to try and hit but I believe that this community is more than capable of being able to meet this target and really making an impact.
As a bonus this year we will be entering all that give with a chance to win vip box at the Brighton match and be part of Arsenal’s official “breakdown” program on May 13th.
Please help us hit the goal, and show the power of our community and the Arsenal family to be a force for good in the world.
Thank you!
