Good analysis. We are a very good league team (not quite clinical or moments enough for single leg cup games). It will be difficult to overtake Liverpool unless they drop off a lot and actually lose some league games (which would probably need to start happening in the next 3-4 games).
If it's going to happen, it's going to happen now. Pool just drew with Villa, if they lose and draw to Newcastle and City then we'll be in with a shout.
