Arsenal Loan Watch April 2022
Like always we will go through Arsenal's players on loan in alphabetical order for the Leagues that have I data.
Daniel Ballard - Millwall
Ballard has continued to play, but with just okay numbers. I have seen people who are very high on his potential and I will have to take their word for it because using stats for a center back can be a bit tough.
Overall this will probably be a very good development year for him getting regular playing time in a tough league and in a team that was pretty good overall.
Folarin Balogun - Middlesbrough
Balogun continues to play pretty regularly and has been a solid contributor to a Middlesbrough team on the edge of the playoffs.
Since we last checked in he has played in 5 matches, accumulated 231 minutes and scored and assisted a goal. A solid month.
Hector Bellerin - Real Betis
I am really not sure what the Bellerin future holds. I could see a path for him back into the Arsenal team as a rotation option now that Arsenal will have some sort of European tournament to contend with, but I really don't know if that is what he would want.
The reports suggest he is happy at Betis, he won a trophy and looks to be set to play in Europe again (Betis are just 3 points off Atleti with around a 15% chance of making the Champions League).
The big question would obviously come down to fees and wages. I think this will be one to watch in the summer because I do think that Bellerin in his current form is a better option for Arsenal than Cedric but it isn't quite as clear-cut as I would hope.
Jordi Osei-Tutu - Rotterham
