Scott had a great bleet/tweet/post Friday morning, where he shared a Kai Havertz radar that looked not as good as you’d like at this point in the season. While it wasn’t universal, there was a pretty positive interpretation of the chart and what it means for Kai, with strength-of-schedule and general “bad stuff has been happing” adjustments being made by many of the fans to explain the data away.
Maybe it’s just the general good vibes of getting off Twitter and onto a platform where being a douche isn’t rewarded, but it was nice to see folks wiling to take a minute and reflect on the “why” there, rather than immediately dismissing Kai as a crap player who needs replacement via whatever Swedish striker can be bought Jan. 1.
In the spirit of the good vibes, I thought the international break might be a good time to take a look at where Arsenal are numerically, both as a team and as individuals, compared to the important benchmark they’ve set for themselves last season.
