Gents, thanks again for your Yin to my Yang, by which I mean your thoughtful, good-natured, rational analysis of the game, against my, “how did he miss that!” rantings as I fall to my knees in front of the TV. In short, whether I am watching the game live or on my screen any rational analysis goes totally out the window – I am totally in the moment and just want to win. I do not care if it goes in off of someone’s backside. Just ***** score! But post-game, I want a proper rational analysis by Arsenal fans who have the skill set to do this (i.e, you): did we deserve to win the game? (However one defines “deserve”…) Did “he” actually play well or poorly? Was “he” at fault for the goal. And of course the impact of the most important factor of all – luck! In short, I am a hybrid of the rational and irrational, but I guess that’s most of us. Keep up the great work Scott & Adam - you are needed now more than ever.
