Rasmus Højlund has a lot of the elements that drive hype through the roof: He’s young, at just 20. He’s 6-foot-3, strong, and runs hard with relatively good pace. His highlight reel includes some top-notch ball-striking.
After just 17 starts for SK Sturm Graz in Austria, wherein the young Dane scored 9 goals, Højlund made a £15m move to Atalanta, a club known for finding European hidden gems and selling them on to greener pastures. Their recent sales list includes Dejan Kulusevski, Cristian Romero, Franck Kessié and Alessandro Bastoni, so the signing pricked up some ears to say the least.
Many fans are calling for Arsenal to add size to its forward line in an attempt to add variety off the bench, and Arsenal have been linked to this player before (along with several other notable clubs). So, should they look into this one? Let’s take a look.
