Premier League 2026/27 - Week 1 Match Simulation

I have tried in the past to try and make this a weekly thing where I try and make bets based off my reads of the matchups and informed by my model and I have never been able to stick with it.

When I have been able to commit the time to it, I have loved it but to do it well I needed to be willing to spend several hours additional a week on it and I just don’t have that extra time to spend on this. I am not (nor have ever claimed to be) a professional gambler here, I have been profitable in my bets but not at stakes that are meaningful or with such accuracy that I would boast about it. This is not my expertise or niche, and there are plenty of places out there that will do a better job than me at that.

Instead, I want to commit to posting the model match odds for each round, talk about my plan for what matches I will be watching closely, and note any commentary that is floating around in brain. I want to free myself from the obligation to have a deep informed/research take on every single match.

Let’s test this out and see how this goes.
