Premier League Simulation: Midweek Makeup

It is a midweek makeup with four matches.

Of interest for Arsenal is obviously their own match but also how Tottenham do today against Burnley. Spurs picked up a number of unexpected points with their win against Manchester City and will face a very different test going up against Burnley. Hopefully, Burnley's low block causes them problems and the Wout Weghorst led resurgence continues for them.

Arsenal vs Wolves Match Simulation

Arsenal just beat this Wolves team on the road and have the chance to do the double on them with this match at home. This isn't an easy matchup but Arsenal are pretty heavy favorites considering the two team's position in the table.

That is driven by Wolves only coming up as the 13th best team in my rankings even tho they are 7th on points and have been playing well.

This is a huge match for Arsenal because after this the games in hand will be matches that they shouldn't expect a ton of points from.

The title race got a little closer after City's loss. The race for the top 4 tightened but Arsenal are still in the driver's seat. The relegation fight is getting interesting with Everton and Leeds starting to get dragged into things and only two expected points separating 18th and 15th.
