Every top club needs a guy in the middle who makes the attack purr. Some people call that a number 10, some an attacking midfielder, but the truth is they come in many forms.
Whether your creative outlet is a second striker, dribbly boi or a pre-assist machine, the ADAM 2.0 formula is designed to find and recognize them. And, selfishly, I think it does a pretty good job! So let’s dig into who’s standing out in this category as we sit here in late February.
As usual, a disclaimer that this ranking is based entirely on numbers, and I always recommend taking in some matches themselves before forming your full opinion. What you see below doesn’t necessarily represent how I’d rank players, though sometimes I do agree.
