He was probably Arsenal's 4th best player this year and I really feel that >50% of what few struggles he did have could be attributed to having zero rest!
It's interesting how one of the biggest question marks in the squad for next year is what Tomiyasu's availability will be and what position he is expected to be in. Great that he can play anywhere, of course!

He does rate better as a defensive fullback but it is a bit odd considering the fee that was floated.
I can squint and see why it make sense. Has PL experience, can play both sides and played a bunch of minutes.
It’s certainly not a move that gets the heart racing tho and could be an overpay.
