Danilo broke into the Palmeiras team last year and over the last two seasons has started 51 matches playing 48 nineties, that is pretty impressive for someone in his late teens and early twenties.
This season he has played primarily as a right-defensive midfielder in Palmeiras’ 4231.
He is primarily a left-footed player, so it would be interesting to see if he would also play in that type of a spot with Arsenal (it could also be really interesting to see Arsenal line up with an all left-footed midfielder if it was Granit Xhaka, Martin Odegaard and Danilo.
