Stats Scouting: João Félix
I am not sure this is a realistic link but I was still interested enough to pull the trigger on doing a stats deep dive for what would likely end up being a huge January transfer for Arsenal
The links to João Félix are continuing but it still feels like there isn’t really much smoke let alone fire yet.
With a move like this, it is really hard to determine how real something is given the incentives for everyone to try to drum up stories and links. I think that there is certainly things being done by the Felix camp to drum up interest, I would even think Atletico would be interested in trying to push that he is in high demand because they would love a bidding war over a player that is looking increasingly desperate.
I have doubts about this move actually materializing and Adam has already gone and ruined this move.
That however doesn’t mean learning more is crazy and not warranted!
So today we will dig into the stats for Felix over the last couple of seasons to get a feel for what type of a player he is and how that might work with Arsenal.
Looking at his stats from a longer time horizon paints a more complete picture of the player. Overall his stats don’t change much but it is based on over 3,600 minutes rather than just over 500.
