I’m carrying over a bit of uncertainty from last season here on that one. If he’s fit and healthy and playing like he has been in the World Cup and preseason he will move up.
If we sign Alvarez he probably stays here as he is a player that would have minutes impacted I think.
I don't imagine that he would be a squad player in the sense that he wasn't playing most matches but yeah maybe he doesn't want to float around and play a bit of everywhere again.
Agree with this but on your depth chart I definitely think Ødegaard should be down as The Guy.

I think the other issue is, does he want to be a 'squad' player again..
if he goes to Barca, he's 'The Guy' at no 9....
he'll get 30 goals, win La liga, and probably comes 3rd in the Ballon D'or...
