It is time to pull up the stats on Arsenal’s players on loan.
Brooke Norton-Cuffy - Rotherham
The stats continue to not quite match the hype on Norton-Cuffy. I will be honest and that I haven’t spent a ton of time watching him play because I only have so much time in the day and usually dedicate that to the Premier League.
One of the things that might be complicating this is that Rotherham play him as a winger in a 3-1-4-2 system. Looking at him compared to attacking midfielders and things look even worse for him statistically.
The silver lining in all of this is his age. He is the 13th youngest player to feature in the Championship this season, and that drops to 5th if you put the minutes cut off at least 400 minutes. I think literally just getting regular playing time for him is an accomplishment at this age and level.
