Scott, it seems to me that we to shoot a bit more. Watching Brighton batter Chelsea was interesting as they were letting fly from all over. We seem to try to play the perfect pass when sometimes the shot is on and we overthink things. I think the botched 3 on 2 from Saka is oddly a good example of overthinking where he was looking for a pass and then ended up with a tame shot. Thoughts?
It certainly possible. Brighton have a certain chaos to their play that we lack, it’s get it into the final third and let it fly and if not winning back as fast as you can and try again.
Not sure Arteta will ever be that open, he’s much more controlled but there can be a bit of reluctance to take a pretty good shot waiting for a great one. Which has generally worked out but can be a little frustrating.

Yep, the control aspect is why we are in first. Brighton reminds me a bit of Liverpool in its heyday.
That said, a few more shots would be welcome. A lot of these GKs are shaky. I want to see us test them.
